To resolve this issue, use one of the following solutions.
How To Turn Something Into A Pdf
For File name, type a name for the publication. For Save as type, select either PDF or X PS Document. Click Options and choose the publish option best for online or print viewing of your publication: Minimum Size Use this option for online viewing as a single page.
Solution 1: If the PDF doesn't contain form fields, enable the Typewriter tool
To save the completed form, choose File Save As and rename the file. To remove extended Reader features, choose File Save A Copy. To allow Reader users to save the data they typed, choose File. Click the File tab or menu option at the top-left of the Word program window. Click the Save As option in the menu. On the Save As window, click the Browse button or option to select a location on your computer to save the file. In the Save as type drop-down list, select the PDF (.pdf) option.
Enable the Typewriter tool on the PDF.
- With Adobe Acrobat:
Note: You must have at least one Acrobat Professional client installed.- Open the PDF in Acrobat Professional.
- Choose Tools > Typewriter > Enable Typewriter tool in Adobe Reader.
- Save the PDF.
- With Reader Extensions Server:
Note: Make sure that you have a Reader Extensions server installed in your organization.- Go to the ReaderExtensions server portal (http://[servername]:[port]/ReaderExtensions).
- Upload the PDF file.
- Fill out the PDF form.
- Save the resulting PDF to your computer.
- With Adobe Acrobat:
Open the PDF in Adobe Reader and choose Tools > Typewriter to access the Typewriter tool.
Use the Typewriter tool to type characters on top of the PDF content.
Note: The Typewriter tool is only available for static PDF files, not for dynamic files, as it is part of the commenting functionality.
Solution 2: To save form data that you enter into PDF form fields, upgrade to Adobe Reader XI
Adobe Reader XI allows saving form data to the PDF.
Solution 3: For Adobe Reader X or earlier, ask the form author to enable the appropriate PDF rights using Reader Extensions Server
Note: The form author needs to have Reader Extensions Server installed in their organization to complete these steps.
- Go to the ReaderExtensions server portal (http://[servername]:[port]/ReaderExtensions).
Select the Usage Rights you want to apply to the PDF (you need Form Fill-In if you want to complete the PDF form and save the data).
Note: Reader Extensions Server is a LiveCycle product that's deployed in an enterprise environment. Therefore, this solution isn't cost-effective if you only want to enable a handful of forms or PDFs.
To make and save changes to a PDF file, you need a license for Adobe Acrobat. Changes that normally require Adobe Acrobat include entering text, saving a PDF form, and adding comments.

In case the term PDF/A is new to you, there is no need to worry. This article defines PDF/A to you. Method 1: How to Convert PDF to PDF/A Format
With PDFelement, there are two ways for you to make PDF/A format from PDF. You can either convert a PDF file to a PDF/A one, or you can save a PDF file as PDF/A after you make some editing on the document. Follow the steps below to learn how to do this.
Step 1. Open PDF File
Open PDFelement on your computer. On the home window, you'll see some useful tabs displayed on it. Click on the 'Open files' button and choose the PDF document as you want to convert and select 'Open'

Alternatively, you can drag the PDF and drop it on the primary window of PDFelement.
Step 2. Edit PDF File (Optional)
To edit the PDF, go to the 'Edit' tab in the top toolbar. You can click on the 'Edit' button to make changes to the texts of the PDF document.
